GTM PLAYBOOK

What to test with your first customers.

You have a prototype but an uncertain buyer. Define the payer, a current problem and a small offer on one page.

YOUR OUTPUT

A buyer hypothesis and a scoped paid-pilot proposal

  1. Find evidence of a current problem

Start with a public request, hiring signal or a workflow problem described in a conversation. Separate observations from your belief that a company might buy. Identify both the user and the payer.

  2. Offer a job with a clear finish

Write down customer inputs, deliverables, timing, acceptance criteria and responsibilities. AI can research and prototype; a person decides price, accountability and exceptions. Label a sample as a sample.

  3. Make an offer the buyer can decline

Use a permitted contact route to test the problem and the scoped offer. Ask what would make it unnecessary, worth paying for and feasible to deliver. Finishing a deck is preparation; a buyer response is evaluation.

DECIDE BEFORE YOU TEST

Set decision criteria before testing.

Keep
If the payer confirms the problem and agrees on inputs, acceptance and a next conversation, define the paid pilot.
Adapt
If the problem is real but the offer misses, change one of the audience, job scope or sample.
Stop
Stop that offer if input access is not permitted, delivery exceeds capacity or the buyer declines. A small silent sample does not disprove an entire market.

YOUR NEXT SEVEN DAYS

Turn a hypothesis into a buyer test.

Seven days is a suggested first review window. Prepare the offer, then seek a response through a permitted contact route. Set time, spending and delivery limits for your own situation.

WORK ON YOUR BUSINESS

Work through how you sell and deliver.

Tell us what you offer, who you hope will buy and where progress stalls. Your experiment sheet does not need to be finished.

AI advisory covers discussion and direction. Building workflows or software is scoped separately.
